We are able to source almost any brand-new title and can generally provide next day delivery for collection from the shop (there is no delivery charge for this service). For a small delivery charge, your books can be delivered straight to your door, usually within 48 hours. Emily is also more than happy to put her research skills to the test and source pre-loved books and rarer titles where possible!

Black Cat Books Ltd sells and accepts National Book Tokens, and we also provide our own unique gift certificates. These are valid for 12 months and can be for any value. They can be used to purchase anything within the shop, as well as specially-ordered books from our suppliers.

We often get people popping into the shop to ask if we buy pre-loved books, or accept them as donations. The answer is yes, we do! However, please check before bringing them in as our storage space is fairly limited and we have to be selective about what we take in. The best way to check is to contact us via social media or email, as it can be tricky to answer the phone during shop hours.
